Welcome to the Artistic Swimming Club's Novice Group! This is the perfect place to begin your journey into the beautiful and challenging world of artistic swimming. In our novice group, you'll learn the fundamental skills that form the foundation of this incredible sport. Get ready to develop your:

• Watermanship: Feeling comfortable and confident in the water. We'll work on essential skills like floating, sculling, and breath control.

• Artistic: Discover the beauty and artistry of this sport, and you'll learn to interpret music with elegance and creative expression.

• Teamwork: As a team sport, you'll learn the importance of working together, cooperating to your coaches and teammates.

Who is Novice:

Our Novice group is designed for individuals who are new to artistic swimming.

• Achieved Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 4 skills.

• Or demonstrate the ability to confidently swim 25 yards without stopping.

• 7-14 years old.

How does the program look like:

MCAS stands out as the only artistic swimming club offering integrated dance and gymnastics programs, providing our athletes with a more comprehensive movement foundation and enhanced physical conditioning.

Season Meets and Showcase opportunities:

• All Novice athletes will have the opportunity to advance to our Intermediate Group during the second quarter of the season. The Intermediate Group will prepare for Invitational Meet and State Level Meet in mid-season. Check the higher level

• All new athletes are invited to attend our end-of-season showcase, our community’s largest event that display this awesome sport to the public.

When is the practice:

• Pool Program             18:00-19:30 Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 Sunday     

• Gymnastic Program   17:00-18:00 Friday     

• Dance Program          9:00-10:00 Sunday     

• The season will begin on the first Wednesday of September.

• The season will end on the last weekend of May.

• Athletes may register for 1 to 4 practices per week based on their needs.
