Welcome to the Artistic Swimming Club's Intermediate Group! In our Intermediate group, you'll learn :
More advanced skills: Training will become more rigorous to build the strength, endurance, and flexibility required for more challenging artistic swimming movements.
Learning a routine choreography: You'll also explore musicality and artistic expression within the choreography.
Competition Opportunity: As an intermediate swimmer, you'll have exciting opportunities to perform in front of judges and applying your learned skills in a competitive setting. This typically includes participation in local and state level competitions.

Who is Intermediate:
Our Intermediate group is designed for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Second-Year MCAS Members: Athletes in their second year of membership with the MCAS.
Pool Time Commitment: A commitment to at least two pool sessions each week is required to ensure consistent skill development.
Novice Promotion Opportunity: Novice-level swimmers will have the opportunity to be promoted to the Intermediate group during the second quarter of their first season, based on demonstrated skill progression and coach assessment.

When is the practice:
Pool Program 18:00-19:30 Wednesday, 10:30-11:30 Sunday
Gymnastic Program 17:00-18:00 Friday
Dance Program 9:00-10:00 Sunday
The season will begin on the first Wednesday of September.
The season will end on the last weekend of May.
Athletes may register for 1 to 4 practices per week based on their needs.
